The obvious reaction to a gargantuan oil spill in the gulf is harsh criticism toward BP and yes, maybe they’re not doing literally everything in their power to clean it up and no I’m not necessarily trying to defend them, but all of you who point fingers and hastily say “they suck” and move on with your day are ignorant - does your life not desperately depend on the abundance of oil? Do you and I not live in the same world with cars and utility bills? This accident is a travesty and something needs to be done to make it right but do you know what the answer is? I sure don’t.

Tumblr and it’s community really make me feel like an outcast. (Keenan’s and my laborious efforts with PFW aren’t helping things.) I couldn’t even donate a tumblr layout to the site; not hipster enough? Bah, who needs ya.
