I’m too impatient for even tumblr now. And that’s exactly the reason I switched over from blogger. Probably has something to do with it taking 15 minutes for pages to load on here. But anyway this is a PFW related post. Simply, I spent the week implenting advertisements and putting up with one of the best examples of how not to build a social networking site: MOG.com. It’s just as bloated as myspace and even more intrusive, ad-wise. That’s where the pfw ads come from, though, so I have to put up with it. Also, all PFW posts are put into MOG Music Network’s database which is searchable by music fans and other bloggers on the network. As far as quality and consistency, I think PFW tramples the competition. If you think otherwise, check out some of the other blogs on MOG. Aside from a few standouts, we’re definitely in the upper echelon; only a matter of promoting our stuff. So, with almost zero (but growing) revenue coming in, and another outlet for our content, we’re in a good place.
